This was the first shakespearean sonnet that I ever wrote. Writing poetry has always been a struggle of mine because of all the elements that go into writing a poem. After taking my time and making sure I understood the elements of a shakespearean sonnet like the rhyme scheme and the iambic pentameter writing this poem came really easy.

In 9th grade this was first time I was ever taking a spanish class. I didn't realize how fun and enjoyable spanish was until I wrote this letter. Writing this letter in spanish showed me that it isn't hard to learn a new language if you apply yourself.
Reflection:
9th grade was a big challenge for me because of how different FMHS was. Looking back during the 9th grade I never gave anything my all and would shut down if I didn't understand something. My biggest challenge during this time was time management and following things through.
Overall my ninth grade year was the beginning of many adjustments that needed to be made so that the rest of my high school career would be fun and enjoyable.
